How It Works

Benefits

Whether you are looking to increase your dog’s agility performance or simply would like a happier and affectionate pet, KIT’s program can provide your dog with lasting benefits.

Calmness

A calm dog is more relaxed in social situations, making it easier to interact with other animals and people without becoming anxious or reactive.

Confidence

Confidence helps a dog feel secure in unfamiliar environments, reducing stress and improving their ability to explore and learn.

Coordination

Good coordination supports a dog's physical health, allowing them to move more gracefully and avoid injuries during play and daily activities.

Focus

A focused dog can better follow commands, which improves their training and overall safety, especially in busy or unpredictable environments.

Happiness

Happiness promotes emotional well-being, which can lead to a more playful and sociable dog, strengthening the bond with their owner.

Patience

Patience allows a dog to handle delayed gratification calmly, making it easier to learn obedience and cooperate with others.

What is Multisensory Training?

KIT (Kanine Integration Training) provides MST™️ (Multisensory Training) for canines.

MST™️ provides improved peripheral vision processing and integrates it with movement. MST™️ accomplishes this via simultaneous application of syntonic phototherapy (specific wavelength ranges of natural light) and vestibular stimulation (motion). MST™️ enhances the communication between afferent and efferent neural pathways (vision input and motor output). We’ve witnessed this in 1000's of humans over the years with improvements in what we like to call the THREE C's: Confidence, Calmness, and Coordination.

Learn More

Peripheral vision (afferent reception) is what an animal (human, dog, etc) uses to instinctively gauge where and how to perform a motor response (efferent output). When peripheral vision processing is compromised (often due to stress, injury, illness, age), there can be a compromise in the quality of the motor response (less natural, more deliberate, less reflexive). We hypothesize that this is the basis for ETO as we see parallels of this in humans.

In addition to helping the canine population that suffers from ETO, MST™️ can serve as an enhancement tool for all agility skills. Many human athletes utilize this training technique to optimize their visual-motor coordination and gain the edge on their competition. Now it's time for dogs to take advantage of it!

Our Program

Our training program includes 12 continuous daily in-office visits (Columbus, OH). Each day involves two 30-minute sessions with a few minutes of break in between. After completion of the 12 days, the dog and owner will use a home light therapy instrument for 20 minutes twice daily for 18 days.

Pricing

Our fee for the program is $2,250.

We do offer a multi-participant discount. If you have a friend/colleague who wants to participate at the same time as you, your fees would be $1,950 each.
